Dear ODB Users:

Happy New Year! Just a little bit of news for you all:

1) A bug tracker for Organizers' Database is now open and ready for
operation. We are using the "mantis" software which is just becoming
ready for prime time. The web site is now at:
http://mantis.organizersdb.org

2) In the next release we might expand the screen size needed to run
ODB. Is anyone out there using ODB on a 640x480 screen resolution?

3) The new 0.9.6 version of ODB is out and one person had a problem
starting it with their existing database. Anyone else have this problem?
We want to fix this tomorrow... but if you see this issue you can fix it
by going to www.organizersdb.org and looking for the 0.9.6 conversion
utility, a standalone utility to fix your old database with a single click
    to work on 0.9.6.

4) We are coming out with a new version of the ODB web site.
Since we are a grassroots operation we are looking for some
volunteers to help with this. It would be great to have more
involvement from the ODB community. Even from folks who want
to help review the bugs that need to be fixed in Mantis. If you
would like to contribute in this way, please email us. Note that
the email addresses for us have rolled over and now you should
    use odb2005 @ organizenow.net

The new web site will provide ways for additional developers to
more easily get involved with improving ODB.

5) OC raised $2,070 from our web site in December. This income
supports all of our activities to challenge the organizational
digital divide, as well as support and development for ODB. We
are offering some perks this time around. Books with a retail value
of $50, donated by O'Reilly & Associates for instance.

So now is a great time to make a donation and to get something
in return. You must donate by 1/11 to receive a premium.
    To donate just go to:
