Hey everyone --
All of you who know about our work with ODB might not be
aware that we also do an annual conference focusing on all
kinds of technologies that might be of use to grassroots
organizations!
I am explicitly inviting you to come; the date is April 16, with
a free afternoon "community day" session on April 15. The
conference is here in the Boston area; this year it is at MIT.
About 50% of the people coming to this event come from out
of Massachusetts.
The Conference web page, where you can register, is:
http://organizerscollaborative.org/conference.html
This is an affordable event, and last year 190 people came
from many widely varied organizations...
We also like to have workshops, in which people who are
doing interesting things with technology (we are not talking
about ODB here, but more generally) at their grassroots
groups can share their skills with others. So if you
want to submit a workshop proposal, see below or send
a brief inquiry email to us, at conf2005 at oc-tech.org. Thanks!
thanks,
-rich
